Exactly what I needed.
This is a well built, exact replacement unit, and it's a very easy cartridge to install, It fixed the problem.
It worked with a little work.
OK, Delta like many other manufacturers puts out a ton of products. That naturally requires a ton of parts. After trying a few supposedly "it'll work" items from my local hardware, I found these on Amazon. I gave them a try. Luckily these units come apart because the QC at the plant must not exist. The first one leaked but after realizing the ceramic plate was upside down, I took it apart, flipped it and now it's perfect. According to the diagram I replaced the other unit only to realize the operation did not match the diagram so I took that unit apart, reconfigured it and it also works well. These are perfect replacements as long as you keep you wits and are handy at taking things apart. This aspect turned a 20 minute job into an hour job.
