Internet ease..
With a little bit of effort I identified the Model# of my Moen faucet and found out the part number for the item that was broken. Of course it was quite a bit cheaper on Amazon than buying it directly from Moen. The instructions that were included for the repair were fairly straight forward and it took less than 10 minutes to complete each faucet repair. The kit does include both a hot and cold knob adapter so I decided to swap over the cold knob even though it had not broken yet.
A bit pricey for what's in the bag but a much cheaper alternative to new faucets.

Plumbing?
So a few of the sink handles at the house broke off (the house is ~ten years old). Have you ever tried to figure out what faucet model you have? Especially in a house you didn't purchase new. So I spent a few days looking at tiny pictures on the Internet, and finally figuring out I have Moen faucets that list at ~$260 each (hunh?).
So I had the choice of buying a few sets of cheap faucets at a big box store (for ~$30 each), or trying to repair the broken parts. Moen's site wasn't particularly helpful - but with enough clicking, I was able to find a PDF that showed the innards of the faucet, and the model number for the replacement parts (MOEN 97556). I was fairly stunned at the price, I mean, $13 for two pieces of plastic, two screws, two steel washers, and two plastic washers - that's outrageous. And the way this package works, it includes one Hot water knob, and one Cold water knob. You can *only* use them for the respective knob.

I'm leaving this as 2 stars until someone can prove that I'm dumb.
Pros:
* It's less expensive than buying directly from Moen. I'm sure that everyone along the supply chain is still doing well at this price, but it makes me feel like I'm a pro shopper. Unless these aren't Moen parts (see below). Then I'm honked.
* I appreciate that the faucet is designed to be serviced.
Cons:
* At some point, instructions stopped being shipped. When I saw the effusive praise, I was looking forward to seeing them. No matter -- if you search for document T4560pt, there's a nice exploded diagram of the faucet.
* Here's my big beef. I replaced the handle adapters on 3 of my 5 sinks that use this faucet (they all failed at about the 10-year mark). In all three cases, the hot-water handle was perfectly square. Since there is only one way to attach the adapter to the cartridge, it makes sense. However, all three cold-water adapters were off by 15...
