Excellent product w/ excellent warranty service
I am sure some of the other issues are real to the reviewers but I am not sure why some of their reviews are on this page.
This page is for American Standard 4205.001.002 which is the chromed version; one of the other reviews is for American Standard 4205.001.208 which is the painted version, not the chromed.
I have used the chromed version and been happy with it for 2 years. NO CHROME CAME OFF.
Before that I had the same chromed model but without the sprayer, something went wrong with the cartridge after 3 years of hard use (plugging and unplugging a portable washer) and when I screwed up opening the base for the cartridge, (turned out my flow issue was with my washer's intake hose filter) American Standard quickly sent me an entire new unit for free, under warranty.
But before that, NO LEAKS, and NO CHROME CAME OFF.
And BTW, you do not have to use plumbers putty when you install this. READ THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS...

Well Constructed
This faucet feels heavy and well constructed. Perfect size for our kitchen sink. Very easy installation except does not come with hot and cold supply hose's. Very good water stream and smooth operation.
Very bad quality
We had to replace this faucet after only 2 years. The paint started chipping off and it started leaking maybe a year and a half after been purchased. Please save your money and buy another one.
